Arbetsbeskrivning
Are you a clever Test Engineer? Then we’d love to have you join our Transmission Development team!
We are a small, close-knit, and multi-disciplinary team of 13 people who enjoy each other's company both at and off work. We are known to share our knowledge generously, support each other in problem-solving and decision making and also challenge each other to become the best versions of ourselves. The team is quite diverse, the culture permissive and my management style is based on trust and responsibility rather than control.
Are you still with me? Does it sound interesting? Great, then let me tell you a little bit more in detail about what we do.
We design and test high-performing mechanical parts allowing for best-in-class gearshifting properties, enabling the engine to operate at its most efficient point thereby minimizing fuel/energy consumption. Our product portfolio includes innovative solutions for Electrical Vehicles as well as for vehicles with combustion engines; did you know that all our future electric propulsion units have gears? I didn’t when I started a little more than a year ago.
As a Test Engineer, you will help create insights into future product solutions and solve challenges connected to current products. You will be part of a team of ambitious test engineers performing tests in vehicles and test rigs. The test methods are under constant development, especially for emerging e-mobility products, and you will perform an important part of that development. Analysis of test results to determine the next step in product development and verification plan is essential. Test automation and scripting will also be a part of your job.
And what about You?
• 2-3 years of work experience as a test engineer
• basic skills in programming (Matlab, Python, or similar)
• an academic engineering degree
• master Swedish and English in speech and writing
• be hands-on in the test rigs
• you are a mature, driven, and kind person
