Test Engineer

DevPort are looking for an experienced Test Engineer within durability testing of Combustion Engines for a specific assignment at one of DevPorts automotive customers.

You will identify the verification needs for features, function or field test in order define test requirements. Create test plan, manage, plan, prepare, and execute engine tests. Analyze results and give recommendations in their respective technology area. Prepare and manage fault reports from tests. Document results and compile the engineering report (ER). Continuously update Test Methods and propose updates of Technical Requirement together with the technology areas.

Also essential for the role is that you have extensive technical hands on experience of combustion engines. That means for example being used to analyse components from test objects to find cause of different issues from a field- or riggtest.

Position Overview:
-Define strategies and develop test methods for new technologies

-Deploy and support the feature, function testing or field tests in new markets and sites.

-Responsibility for test codes and or test methods

-Responsible and Go-To person for fidelity of test methods and codes

-Broad technical expert within combustion engines with ability to train and mentor less experienced colleges and manage network across the organization.

We see that you have a university degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
