Test Engineer

Our customer is worldleading in their business area and their mission is to help their customers to sell more phones.They offer a complete platform portfolio across 2, 5 and 3G to manufacturers of mobile phones and other wireless devices.The technology is based on a global standardization leadership and the world's strongest IPR (intellectual property rights) portfolio.The headquarter is in Lund, Sweden, where a majority of the company's approximately 1,800 employees are located.We also have operations in China, Germany, Japan, Norway, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.Job Description The test engineer will work with protocol test within the area of certification or development.The work is performed in projects in close cooperation with other testers and developers.The test engineer will design, develop and execute test cases with the goal to demonstrate the quality of the mobile phones.He/She will document the work in Incident Reports and Test Reports.The test engineer should be able to explain problems and issues to other project members and managers.He/She will work in a structured way, following processes and methods outlined by the line organization.Who are you We believe that you have one or a few years of working experience but you can also have finished your studies more recently.You have a Master of Science and we think that your studies have been focused on Computer Science, Electronics, Engineering, Physics or equivalent.We believe that you have genuine interest of the mobile phone area, are structured and like to solve technical/logical problems and are focused on meeting the demands and needs of our customers.Equally important are your social skills, your personality and ambition to develop.
