Development & Engineering The D&E unit develops and produces packaging systems and distribution solutions for liquid food.The unit is part of the Tetra Pak Group which has a global coverage and key product development centres in Modena, Italy, Lund, Sweden, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.In Modena, Lund, and Minneapolis we provide product innovation and industrialization of packaging systems and distribution solutions including world class expertise in key competence areas as well as in raw material converting processes and equipment to our customers all around the world.The Carton Economy Platform is responsible for Development and Engineering of a product portfolio, with the strategic intention of enabling Tetra Pak to build new customer and consumer base in the developing and emerging markets with low purchase power.Carton Economy's product development is based on the filling machine platform Tetra Pak A1, our main technical platform for thin carton board applications in the future.The Validation Equipment Lines group within Carton Economy Competence and Technology Applications department is looking for a Test Engineer.The products that today are included in Carton Economy's product portfolio are Tetra Wedge Aseptic, Tetra Fino Aseptic and Tetra Classic Aseptic. The Validation Equipment Lines group can offer you a creative and stimulating work environment, where you will have the opportunity to combine hands-on and analytical work.Your main responsibilities will be to: .Plan, perform and document validation tests of filling lines and packages as part of our projects.. Coordinate different test activities and to take an active role in the development of new test methods and validation routines.Test and verifications are performed both in-house and at our customers' sites.The position therefore requires some international travelling.The person we are looking for has a strong technical knowledge and above all a hands-on experience.You probably have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanics, Automation or Maintenance Engineering and 2-5 years of work experience.Since the position involves international contacts you need to have a very good command of English, both written and spoken. To be successful in this position we believe that you are pro-active and able to see what needs to be done combining a holistic view with the ability to find the root causes of problems.You are an organised and methodical person that find analysing and prioritization natural.You are thorough with excellent planning and communication skills.
