Are you interested in working hands-on with high tech equipment for filling machines? We are looking for Test Engineers of filling machines, who like to add value to our customers.
As a Test Engineers you are accountable for assembling, wiring, testing and dismantling of Capital Equipment Filling Machines. The development journey includes then an increasing link and collaboration with colleagues from R&D platforms, Tetra Pak Technical Service and Suppliers with the aim of improving our production process based on feedback from the field as well as supporting R&D development projects with “Early” production input to design optimization.
What you will do
Secure Functional Performances of equipment according to specifications
Identify, log and solve complex technical problems both in Mechanical and Automation area
Drive continuous improvement of equipment testing methods according to World Class Manufacturing methodology, and in integration with both suppliers, R&D and installation teams
Secure formal documentation of operational instructions for internal use
Contribute to joint activities with R&D and TS colleagues with the aim of contributing to Vertical Startup of equipment reaching customer sites
The position will be located in Lund, but you will work in a global arena.
Who you are
You could have a background working with advanced mechanical assemblies with high degree of automation with minimum 3 years work experience. You can also have experience as a Test Engineer with at least 3 years of experience from any kind of advanced filling system, or you could come from a Field Service background wanting to use your system expertise without the demands of extensive travelling.
As a person, you are a creative problem solver with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and align to decisions made. As you will work with shifting types of tests as well as people, you have good communication skills and the ability to work in teams. Good collaboration skills are important in order to create strong professional relations with different level of stakeholders, exchanging information and supporting colleagues to achieve personal and team goals. A good command of English, both written and oral is required.
