We are now looking for an experienced Test Engineer for R&D Complete Chair, Test & Analysis.

YOUR ROLE - Key Responsibilities

The Test Engineer is a key member of product development teams, safeguarding deliverables of the Test Department into the project(s) at the appropriate level. Typical areas of responsibility are Test, Verification and Validation, both in terms of requirement definition and execution. In this particular case, you are also expected to be able to perform simulations and correlate them with test results, in the field of dynamics and vibrations.

As Test Engineer you will:

- Assess and formulate testing, verification and validation requirements
- Specify, plan, coordinate, perform and follow up activities with regards to specific deliverables in development projects
- Create and correlate simulation models of the wheelchairs and/or its sub-systems to be able to assess their performance with regards to dynamics and vibrations
- Pinpoint development areas for the department in terms of capability and competence, to be able to deliver results at the appropriate level. This includes process and method development.




This position is located in Timrå and reports to the Manager Test & Analysis.

YOUR PROFILE - Qualifications

We believe that you have an engineering degree and at least 5 years of work experience as development engineer or similar, with exposure to target setting, planning, testing and other activities related to testing, verification and validation of mechanical systems and components. Experience in the field of Medical Technology, automotive engineering or CAE is a merit.

You are used to working in projects, have a logical and analytical way of thinking and have good business English and presentation skills. We also expect you to have good relationship management and communication skills.
