Test Engineer - Applications Team

JOB DESCRIPTION As Test Engineer you will work close together with developers and project managers in order to specify, prioritize and execute test instructions.An important part of your work will be to provide clear and effective status reports to project stakeholders.Your ability to collaborate within the own team as well as cross functionally in the organization will therefore be valued.Your main tasks will involve: Writing test plans and test instructions Execution of test cases and verification of requirements Analyzing test results and filing defect reports Development of test tools for test automation Provide status reports to project stakeholders YOUR QUALIFICATIONS You have a bachelor's or a master's in computer science or similar and are an individual dedicated to constant self-, team and process improvement.You have the ability to be innovative and you are open to new ideas.We also believe that you are highly motivated and self-driven with the ability to work efficiently with limited supervision.You have knowledge in: software programming, network administration on Linux/Unix systems and experience in test engineering.If you have experience in test automation this will be considered a plus OUR QUALITY ASSURANCE UNIT The Axis Center of Competence for Quality Assurance focuses on product testing, verification and validation.Our primary goal is to make sure that our products meet our high quality requirements when released from R&D.The main activity is testing and verification of software.Our principal collaboration partners are developers, project management and product management.
