Test Engineer - Dynamic Powertrain Testing

The group Dynamic Powertrain Testing is a part of the Section Vehicle and Systems Testing and is responsible for testing in dynamic engine test beds where we simulate a complete vehicle. We are currently in the process starting up a brand new powertrain test bed where we plan to perform emission tuning on complete powertrains Our group consists of 15 engineers.
As Test Engineer you will be performing tests, Emissions and Performance, from early prototype stages to the final calibration of production engines. You will handle several types of test equipment and measuring devices and work closely with test engineers, mechanics, designers, maintenance staff and colleagues within the group. The daily tasks are very varied since we are performing tests from early prototype stages to the final homologation of production engines.
Main responsibilities
* Support the daily running of the test bed
* Responsible for test object to rig interfacing
* Plan and prepare new tests in new drive cycles and new simulation models (HIL) in test bed computer system
* Execute and analyse tests together with internal customers
* To document methods developed during testing
* Responsible for quality assurance of test systems and test data delivery
Required qualifications
* M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering or equal experience
* Fluent in English both written and spoken
* Experience in engine calibration meritorious
* Knowledge in SW development and programming is meritorious
* Knowledge of HIL systems is meritorious
* Experience from testing or similar work is meritorious
Personal qualities
* Team player with strong communications skills
* A genuine interest of technology
* Able to work independently and take required actions and initiative
* A fast learner with an analytical mind
