The Rosemount Tank Radar AB division of Emerson Process Management is a leading provider of radar-based level and tank gauging solutions for the marine, oil & gas and process industry markets.[ Founded in 1976, the company has a turnover of over 1 billion kr and employs over 400 people worldwide.[ To support rapid growth and expansion into new areas, we are adding a number of new positions in R&D, purchasing, service and other areas.[ The company is owned by Emerson (NYSE:EMR), an American company with over 128,000 employees and $US 20 billion in sales.[ As a Test Engineer you will be a part of an independent test team within the E&D department.The test team's main responsibility is to plan and perform system tests on the company's developed products and perform or assist with component testing.You will review requirements, design, prepare and run tests, organize collected data, analyze and draw conclusions and present results to other team members.Beside that you will be involved in developing of testing methods and construction of automated test solutions for characterizing the properties of new level gauging products.You will also identify failure modes and support future product design work.You are expected to participate in the continuous development of the Test Team, such as methods and process improvements, working towards test automation and further develop our testing facilities and tools.The position is located in Linköping, or in Gothenburg if the right candidate so desires.This position requires knowledge about test processes and methods (e.g.Design of Experiments), construction of [electrical test systems including EMC behaviour, computer automated data acquisition, and a sound understanding of the physics and engineering principles related to testing and measurement techniques.Experiences from EMC testing and functional testing of microwave systems are preferred.An ISTQB (ISEB) certificate, or equivalent, is desired.To apply for this position you need to have a Masters, or Bachelor's degree combined with appropriate industry experience and a minimum of four years of industry experience in test functions.It is desired that you have experience with microwave devices and with failure analysis.You have the ability to multitask with multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with a large amount of responsibility.You are used to and enjoy working in a team environment.You have excellent oral and written communication skills, both in Swedish and English.Please apply by using the apply button or the link below, no later than May 20th.
