Test Engineer? Fight cancer with code!

Arbetsbeskrivning

RaySearch develops innovative software solutions to improve cancer care. Over 2,600 clinics in more than 65 countries use RaySearch software to improve treatments and quality of life for patients. RaySearch was founded in 2000 and is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm. The headquarters is located in Stockholm, with subsidiaries in the US, Europe, Asia and Australia & New Zealand. Today we are more than 380 employees with a common vision of improving cancer care with innovative software. Our great staff is crucial for our success and we offer a fantastic working environment in modern offices, flexibility and good opportunities for development. We believe in equal opportunities, value diversity and work actively to prevent discrimination.

Do you have experience of testing and want to be involved in quality assurance of the code in our products? RaySearch is growing and we are now looking for two test engineers who want to be involved in creating software that makes a difference for the world's cancer patients!

“I work in a team where we always help each other and make room for development and new challenges. Since I started, I have had more and more responsibility."

This is what Vanja, who started as a test engineer with us at RaySearch nine years ago, says. Today she is also a scrum master. In addition to the tasks, Vanja appreciates the close collaborations within and between the teams, the atmosphere in the office and creating products that make a difference.

The position

Just like Vanja, as a test engineer, you will be part of our R&D department in Stockholm with 200 well-educated and competent developers, physicists and test engineers.

You will work in a cross-functional, agile team where you mainly will work with:

• Design and execution of manual UI tests
• Planning and performing exploratory testing
• Design and programming of automatic UI tests
• Design, compilation and maintenance of test suites
• Test strategy
• Test infrastructure

RaySearch projects

We have many teams with different focuses, and we have opportunities both for you who are primarily focused on manual system testing and for you who are primarily focused on developing test code. When you apply for a job with us, we will start with an open dialogue to see which projects, techniques and challenges that would be suitable for you. Read more about our different projects below.

* RayStation is a treatment planning system that improves treatment for patients in cancer clinics around the world. You will be part of a team that is responsible for a certain functionality, such as treatment with linear accelerators, proton or carbon machines, image processing or integrations. You work widely, including automation of existing manual UI tests.

* RayCare is the next generation oncology information system, developed to streamline workflows in cancer clinics to give more people the chance to receive more effective care faster. RayCare is a robust and scalable software platform used by our end users, cancer care staff. You work widely, including integration testing between RayCare's various components, but also with external products.

* RayIntelligence is an oncology analysis system that is used to support analysis of patient populations, research activities, improvements in the workflow for oncology and facilitate adaptation of machine learning in oncology care. RayIntelligence supports cloud storage with advanced data search capabilities.

* RayCommand is an advanced treatment control system that is the link between our products RayStation, RayCare and the treatment machine itself. RayCommand coordinates the systems involved in treatment, which is important to achieve safe and effective patient care.

Being part of our journey

Our products make a difference, and we are passionate about what we do. RaySearch is in a time of rapid technological innovation where you will be involved in creating the cancer treatment software of the future.

If you work hard to reach a goal, there is a high probability that you will get opportunity to develop at RaySearch. You could start as a test engineer but in the future, you could become a scrum master, verification and validation manager, project manager, group manager or being responsible for the test framework.

It is important that our employees both grow and enjoy their daily work life. We support work-life balance with the possibility of flexible working hours and generous wellness allowance. We have just moved into a new office in Hagastaden, where we have our own bistro and offer breakfast, after works and many opportunities to collaborate and have a nice time together.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have experience in testing and development, but motivation and personality are at least as important as experience. In addition to sharing our great interest in improving cancer care, we see that you want to contribute to a committed team, where each person is involved and creates the common result. We believe that you are structured, accurate and motivated to create tests that provide the conditions for high-quality code.

We believe that you have:

• BSc or MSc in computer science, medtech or similar
• +2 years’ experience in testing and/or development (preferably object-oriented programming)
• Excellent communication skills in English

It is an advantage if you have some Swedish language skills and experience from the medtech industry and from agile working methods. We also see it as a merit if you have experience in test automation.

Application

You are warmly welcome to apply for the service through the form below. Selection and interviews are ongoing. We do not accept applications via e-mail, but if you have any questions about the service, you are welcome to contact us.
