Test Engineer for Complete Vehicle

For our Integration Testing Group within E/E Industrial Operations Asia, we are now looking for a committed and driven test engineer to support during complete vehicle testing of the full electrical system in the vehicle. You will be working together closely with our testing team.

As the Complete Vehicle test engineer, you will be mainly working with supporting our integration test and functional testing in our vehicles. You will also be working with troubleshooting, analysis, and documentation of the testing results and review of test specifications. As we are currently setting up our processes one important task here will also be to improve our current way of testing and our processes.

Most of your time will be spent inside our test vehicles where you will work with the latest hardware and software. Most of your "customers" will be working closely together with you so you will have a continuous feedback line in your work.

A suitable background is a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent competence obtained through work experience with a focus on software and vehicles. Since computers are an important tool in your daily work, it is important that you feel comfortable with computers as a work aid. You should understand the vehicle's electrical system and network and know how to record data on these. A prerequisite for the position is that you have at least a C driving license (CE and D are meritorious) and have a lot of vehicle experience already.

As a person, you are driven and structured and get things done. In addition to that, you should be analytically inclined, in other words, be observant and find the errors when they exist. You master English in speech and writing.
