Test engineer - Freevalve

For this role we are looking for multiple applicants with experience from hardware and electronics testing activities in an automotive environment. Supporting with any testing needed for the components used by the cam-less system. Willing to take the extra mile to support the team with new ideas and give input on systems under development. Take the responsibility to secure testing without all documentation in place and find the way for quantifying the data with given. You will have a direct possibility to influence the product and investigate new paths. You will be working closely with external and internal customers in an entrepreneurial start-up like organization. You will be part of the company growth in putting the most interesting technology in the combustion engine market yet to date.

As a test engineer you will be responsible to execute testing for a team of engineers to support the parts and quantify specifications based on the need of the cam-less system. You will get the opportunity to develop the test procedures and give feedback to improve setups and documentation. You will be working closely with other senior test engineers within the team. You will work closely with internal and external customers. You will also be part of growing the team for future expansions.

Responsibilities

- Plan and execute tests in an automotive environment on component level
- Creating of verification and validation plans according to the V-method
- Set up and develop the Koenigsegg Cam-less system verification and validation lab and methods
- Document and report test results in a structured way using internal tools and processes
- See the future needs of any test activities and plan for any lab upgrades needed in close relationship with senior test engineers
- Optimizing and streamlining any tools or lab equipment used
- Building and be actively involved in test setups in the lab
- Propose design improvements for components

Need to have

- BSc or MSc in Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical
- Positive and can-do attitude
- Experience from testing within automotive industry segment
- Experience from automotive
- Develop and communicate test plans within given scope
- Interpersonal and communication and reporting skills
- Understanding of prototyping, production technologies and validation procedures
- Professional level of English
