Test Engineer Hardware testing

Test and proto operations Braås (TnPo) is a part of TnPO Global, a worldwide organization within Volvo responsible for testing and verification. In Braås, situated 30 km north of Växjö, we have 18 test engineers divided into two different departments. HW hardware testing and SW/RG software testing/reliability growth. We are responsible for testing and verification of Articulated Haulers. We work with both components and complete machines.
Volvo is world leading in Articulated haulers. To maintain and strengthen our position we are constantly developing our products, testing and verification is a vital part of this work. To succeed and reach our goal we are now recruiting new colleagues with a strong commitment towards developing our company, our department and ourselves.

Main role and responsibility
-Lead and perform Strain measurements on complete vehicle and components.
-In close relation with Structures & Durability department provide test data for simulation and calculation models.
-Perform duty/fatigue measurement analysis.
-Deliver test results and reports to test requesters.
-Design and development of custom measuring equipment.
-Develop test methods and test standards, explore new test equipment and methods.
-In a positive an ambitious way contribute to develop TnPO?s processes, methods and product

Competence
TnPO Hardware are now seeking a test engineer that are performance driven with a business mindset and utilizing strong customer focus with a courage to think different to make a change. Your main responsibility will be to develop and perform strain gauge measurements and signal analysis. We believe you have a strong analytic ability and enjoy working in projects together with other people and other functions inside and outside of Volvo but you can also work independently. You take full responsibility for planning and execution and are proficient in written and spoken English, Swedish is preferred.

You have a Master of science in engineering or equivalent experience. We see that you have previous experience from signal analysis, strength calculations, measuring techniques.
Knowledge and experience working with Matlab, Glyphworks and different DAQ instruments or equivalent are preferred.
