HemoCue R&D is strengthening and deepening its competencies and we are now looking for an experienced test engineer to the verification and validation team. As test engineer, you will be responsible for planning and performing various types of laboratory tests as well as evaluating and document the results. You will also be responsible for parts of the analytic equipment at the R&D department. You will be part of a dynamic team composed of test engineers, technical project managers and researchers. You will report to the Manager Clinical Operations and will be placed in Ängelholm, Sweden.
Your responsibilities and tasks will include:
Support R&D projects with planning, performing and evaluating various types of laboratory testing
Participate in the development of new tests/methods
Responsibility for sustainment and qualification of laboratory equipment
Assure that all work is performed according to ISO 13485, QSR and Design Controls
Qualifications
Experience from performing laboratory work (chemistry, biochemistry, BMA)
Experience from planning and evaluating laboratory tests
Knowledge of statistics
Experience from performing verification and validation testing is an advantage
Experience from product development of medical devices is an advantage
Formal education: Candidates should have
University degree: BMA, B.Sc or M.Sc in natural sciences or engineering
Your main communication language will be Swedish but we expect that you will be fluent in English in both speech and writing.
