Kongsberg Automotive AB in Mullsjö is part of the Kongsberg Automotive group. The product development within Kongsberg Automotive is subject to global competition, with high demands on our performance. As a Validation Engineer you will be part of a growing R&D department of approximately 100 engineers located in Mullsjö, Sweden. Having global customers and suppliers means a great deal of international contacts. The Powertrain and Chassis Division also has Validation Centers in Kongsberg (Norway), Wuxi (China) and Novi (USA).

Department
The Mullsjö Validation Center is the largest test entity in the division along with Wuxi (China) and Novi (US) and has become an even more important part of our global R&D organization. We now need to build and strengthen our organization to be able to
meet the increase in requests and demands within the validation and verification area. Our objective is to be in the global frontline of our product range where electronics is having an increasing impact on our designs. We therefore need to strengthen out capabilities within electronic and mechatronic validation in our new R&D center in Mullsjö.


Job profile
As Test Engineer/Technician, you will be a part of a skilled team of 13 engineers, validating products from concept to production launch. You will work with several projects and will coordinate and report actively to validation responsible and project teams. The role requires that you continuesly improve methods by increasing capabilities, efficiency and accuracy of the daily work.
You will be reporting to local validation manager.


Candidate profile
- Engineering technician or B.Sc. degree, qualifying in electronics.
- Experienced at working in projects.
- Solid theoretical and mechanical knowledge,
- Able to work in a structured way, both independently and in a team.
- Committed, self-managing, responsibility taking, high focus and interest to improve the day-to-day work .
- Good knowledge of English is required. Knowledge of other languages such as German, French, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean is also valued.
