National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB (Nevs) builds on the Saab Automobile AB legacy of innovative power, quality, progressive design and a firm commitment to environmental and safety issues. Our aim is to be a front runner in the automotive industry, with focus on electric vehicles.

Research, development and manufacturing is a match between Swedish know-how in manufacturing and design and Japanese advanced technology. Research and development is conducted as a collaborative effort between Swedish, Japanese, and Chinese engineers.

The plant at Trollhättan is the main hub of National Electric Vehicle Sweden, including head office, research & development and manufacturing.

Description
Our Engineering department is now creating a strong foundation of skills and we are therefore looking for a Test engineer to cover the competence areas of safety testing.

You will use your technical skills in order to meet expectations from both internal and external customers. This role will also include:
-       Responsibility for investigating exterior and interior component and subsystem
        issues and to develop and evaluate solutions to these issues in close cooperation
        with engineering department and other testing departments.
-       Responsibility for developing test methods and test equipment as well as 
        ordering maintenance and service actions.
-       Taking an active part in target setting and validation of the component and 
        subsystem performance.
-       Contact and cooperation with both internal clients and external customers.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
-          Relevant experience and technical skills in the work area, at least 5 years.
-          University engineering education or equivalent.
-          Driving license B.
-          Hands-on and theoretical knowledge and experience in exterior and interior 
           safety testing.
-          Experience in using MTS Pendulum Headform Impacter and MTS Torso Launch
           system.
-          Knowledge of remedies and relevant solutions to issues regarding components
           and subsystems.
-          Good ability to plan and follow up on validation activities.

You master Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

-          Be solution oriented.
