What you will do

As a test engineer, you will plan the test assignments according to scope and schedule. Your test assignments may vary day by day, everything from very hands ‘on product close work to reporting. You ensure that the test object is ready and that the scope of the test is understood by everyone involved to meet the desired quality and results. During and after the test has been performed, you will prepare and manage faulty reports, create reports to summarize the test performed, and present the results to various stakeholders. You will work in close collaboration with drivers, mechanics, engineers, project management and other key stakeholders within product development.

Your future team
Our team is working with vehicle verification and validation to secure our products and services meets our customers’ expectations. Tests are mainly performed in Sweden, at the proving ground in Hällered or the surrounding area, but also during shorter or longer expeditions in Sweden or around Europe. You will be part of the reliability, durability and performance validation test team focusing on complete vehicle function verification and validation tests. The testing is not limited only to functions in the vehicle but also includes functions and services of back-office systems, and all aspects of vehicle related to conventional, electromobility and hydrogen technology. Who are you?

You have a bachelor's or master's degree in mechatronics, electronics, or other relevant educational background with experience from the automotive industry. You have a good understanding of vehicle verification and validation methodology including related tools and product development process. You have a good product knowledge and a genuine interest for the complete vehicle, new technology as well as for our customers. You are analytical and can solve problems in an effective and creative way, and you have good IT technical skills. You have an ability to establish networks and relations with relevant engineering departments and project management. We believe you are a true team player, a person the team can rely on. You are target driven, positive and have confidence without prestige. Further, you have good verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English, and you can adapt to change and challenges. You have CE driving license. The position is in Hällered and requires frequent travelling.
