Test Environment HW Engineer

Arbetsbeskrivning

Take the opportunity to join in and influence the future of powertrain development.

Are you interested in developing our powertrain Test Environment (TE) and believe in the importance of environmentally friendly, sustainable transport? This is what we at NCVE work towards every day on a journey that involves major technological steps in more efficient drivelines, emissions impact and solutions for electrification. As a Hardware In the Loop (HIL) TE Engineer, you will gain a broad knowledge of the control system with a good overview of how the functions are connected.

Our expanding HIL environment today consists of dSpace and ETAS rigs used for ICE and BEV projects.

Besides HIL HW, our group of fifteen colleagues develop existing and new SW test tools, various HIL and SIL models as well as test automation frameworks, the combination of which creates stable and dynamic powertrain test development environments. We value humility, creativity, and critical thinking in our quest to provide Scania with top solution. To achieve with this we prioritize a pleasant working environment with a healthy work/life balance.

Your role

As a HIL HW Engineer at Embedded Tools and Test Environment you will work in close cooperation with testers to produce and maintain an environment that matches project requirements. Many of our upcoming projects will also involve a more integrated Scania, Traton and VW approach.

As we work cross-functionally in a fast evolving area you will be learning new things all the time and enlarging your network of Scania contacts.

Your profile

You are structured, able to lead yourself and are clear in your communication. We would like you to have an engineering Master’s degree or equivalent with experience in mechatronics. You appreciate the importance of quality assurance and feel comfortable participating in HIL supplier negotiations. Experience with ETAS, dSpace or other HIL supplier HW is advantageous.

We offer

We offer a job where every day is rich in content, and where your Scania career and personal development are an important aspect of group and section development where you can develop yourself in areas such as of project management, SW development and model development.
