About this opportunity
(We are now looking for a Test Hardware Developer System for the Product Test Development (PTD) department in Kumla, Sweden. Your role will include development activities such as requirement analysis, system design, hardware design, software design, HW/SW integration, HW/SW verification, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We are organized in multi-functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work. The position is focused on developing production test solutions for the latest radio products within Ericsson.



What you will do
Drive strategic technical leadership.
Build and systemize test systems and coordinate other functions in the Test HW team as well as act as support to PTD PM’s.
Act as an expert within the domain of boundary scan.
Perform design reviews.
Handle and tackle Change Requests (CR') and Trouble Reports (TR).
Handle procurement of parts included in the test systems.
Actively work and chip in to the platform activities within the test hardware area.
Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling and develop competence in valid technical domains.
Develop and Systemize high-quality products.
Perform troubleshooting and customer support.
Perform Root Cause analysis during design, verification and implementation.
Report to the Product Test HW Manager.


You will bring
Education: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation Engineering SW engineering or similar work experience.
Proven experience (min 5 years) in the given areas.
Demonstrated ability: Mechanical Engineering, SW engineering, Automation Engineering, regulatory requirements (CE & UL) as Machine Directive (MD) Low Voltage Directive (LVD) 3C, and RoHS.
Good knowledge in PLM environments as PiWin, PRIM/GASK.
Business understanding in the area of telecommunication.
Ability to work with people and networking skills.
Ability to innovate, adapt and respond to change.
Basic knowledge of EMC/EMI from a mechanical point of view.
Planning and organizing skills.
An analytical approach with and the ability to understand large and complex systems.
