Westermo is looking for a Test Lead
As a Test Lead at Westermo you will be a part of our R&D Software Development department in Västerås. You get a great chance to become a part of a rather unique experience, we develop WeOS; our own Linux based operating system. WeOS runs on approx 70 different HW products. On top of the Linux operating system that we gear towards each individual HW, we provide a rich feature set for the benefit of our customers.
In this position you will manage test activities through projects as well as lead a team that is responsible for our world class automated test systems and contribute by refining our test capabilities for existing and future products. Your role as a Test team leader focuses on team and test systems development while the formal personnel responsibility is managed by the SW Manager.
You will work with management of test activities through projects, mainly focusing on SW development. Our projects are run using Agile and Lean development models such as Scrum and Kanban together with traditional project management. You will also work with pre-studies and tenders.
Qualifications
We are looking for a person who is interested in software development in general but preferably works with test development. You have a Masters Degree in SW Engineering and experience from risk based testing, exploratory based testing and automated testing. You have good knowledge about different test methods and test approaches and an understanding for when a specific method is better to use than others. Additionally, you have experience from leading teams beyond the boundaries of a single project.
You have good communication skills, both verbal and in writing in Swedish as well as English.
