At Scania, we have a strong culture of developing and launching innovations that actually work at scale, to drive real change.
In our team, you will get the opportunity to create an exciting future for both you and Scania. The electrical systems within our trucks and buses are growing rapidly in both size and complexity due to technological advancements. This creates higher demands on our electrical control units (ECU’s) as well as new challenges regarding methods for verifying their robustness. We are looking for a creative Test leader to be part of one of the most interesting projects you will come across if you are into electronics! We are building a new test environment with automated test rigs for Scania’s ECUs, where you will make a difference with your analytical skills and new perspectives.
We are a small team working closely with other colleagues and together we help each other to develop our products and learn from our achievements.
Your new job
With the target to develop vehicles with robust electrical characteristics, we test our electrical components and installations with creative test methods. In the role of test leader for our automated testing, you will be challenged to develop new methods and ways of working.
Examples of tasks:
• Evaluate testing needs, plan, and coordinate testing together with suppliers, component owners, and project managers
• Evaluate test results and discuss these internally and with suppliers
• Create a test environment and develop automated test sequences
You will work in cross-functional teams with colleagues from the whole organization which will give you a broad network. As test leader, you will be the coordinator for all of our different test projects internally and also towards our suppliers. This is a role for you who is curious and enjoys creative discussions with many stakeholders to find the best way forward.
About you
We believe you have an academic degree in computer science, electronics, or similar and are recently graduated. You are familiar with Labview or similar, test automation, embedded systems, and FPGA programming. The most important to us is that you are a team player, get a kick out of getting things done, and are strong in prioritizing different assignments. You enjoy the opportunity to see things from different angles but also get other people’s opinions and find the optimal solution.
We offer
At Scania Software Factory we want you to succeed and develop. As a Scania employee, you are given excellent professional development opportunities, great colleagues, and the possibility to be a part of a revolutionizing journey.
