Who We Are
In the Complete SW Integration & Release department, we focus on base technology integration, core systems application integration, software, and electronic domain integration, striving to maximize test value. Our work spans test strategies, continuous integration enablement, and the operation of the complete baseline. We are currently in search of a colleague to strengthen our test-developing team within the continuous integration, manual, and automatic testing flow.

What You'll Do

As a member of the Integration, Verification, and Orchestration team within Complete Software and Integration, you will contribute to coordinating and planning tests within integration and release on the complete software and electronics system level for all Volvo platforms. Your responsibilities will extend to orchestrating all releases to customers from the start of integration to deployment. As a Test Leader, you will be part of a team delivering daily work from continuous delivery through integration testing to the release of the complete electrical system. Your role involves orchestrating the organization to ensure that all tests are conducted in the strategic order and in a quality-assured manner. Interaction with testers, test architects, and developers, both inside and outside R&D, is expected. You are also responsible for maintaining a test plan for several different-purpose baselines simultaneously.

Who You Are
To succeed in this role, you need experience in software development and test leadership. Familiarity with Volvo Cars' development process and programs, as well as experience in test development and working with high-complexity products, is beneficial. Effective communication skills, great collaboration skills, and fluency in English are essential.
The sought-after candidate for this role should embody qualities such as courage, a high level of energy, integrity, and professionalism. A holistic view of projects and tasks, along with the ability to support people, actively listen, and provide coaching, is crucial. Additionally, the ideal candidate should approach challenges with analytical and structured thinking.
Furthermore, a qualified candidate will hold an M.Sc in Electrical and Software Engineering or possess similar relevant experience. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in working with an integration-based development perspective, including software test and integration. Experience within the automotive industry, international work environments, and software coding is considered advantageous.
