Test Leader, HVDC Protection and Control

You will be part of HVDC within the Power Systems division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 50 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems. At HVDC, you will be part of a global company and get the opportunity to lead the factory acceptance testing (FAT) of control and protection systems for a HVDC plant. You will also get the opportunity to manage the commissioning at our global customers? plants. As Test Leader you will coach our control and protection engineers during the testing of control and protection systems to ensure that we deliver according to agreed functionality, quality, cost and on time. You are also expected to streamline our processes and participate in the ongoing improvements of our business.

You have relevant education combined with a genuine interest in technology and in learning new things. As many of our customers operate abroad, fluency in written and spoken English is a prerequisite. Knowledge of Swedish is also required. It is important that you always represent ABB in the best way possible, especially since our customers usually are participating during testing. Lastly, you are a social person who enjoys cooperating with people from different business areas and parts of the world.
