Job Description - Test Lead/Test Manager
As a Test Lead/Test Manager at Cyber Instincts AB, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing various testing initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and coordinating testing activities across different projects, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and standards.

- Developing comprehensive test plans, strategies, and schedules in collaboration with project stakeholders, taking into consideration the specific needs and timelines of each project.

- Managing a team of test engineers, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and skill development within the team.

- Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies to proactively address potential challenges in the testing process.

- Ensuring the quality and accuracy of testing processes, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.

- Providing leadership in implementing best practices and continuous improvement in testing methodologies, staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies.

- Collaborating with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of testing activities into project workflows.

- Reporting and escalating issues to project management as necessary, with a focus on timely resolution.

Technical Specifications:

- Experience: Proven track record as a Test Lead/Test Manager with 5 to 8 years of experience in software testing.

- Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a testing team.

- Testing Methodologies: Strong understanding of various testing methodologies, including but not limited to manual testing, automated testing, performance testing, and security testing.

- Industry Standards: Familiarity with industry standards such as ISTQB, and relevant certifications will be considered a plus.

- Automation: Experience in test automation tools and frameworks, with proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or others).

- Agile Development: Experience in leading testing efforts within an agile development environment.

- Test Management Tools: Proficiency in test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or others.

Considered a plus:

- Performance Testing: Knowledge of performance testing tools and methodologies, with hands-on experience in load testing and performance tuning.

- Security Testing: Familiarity with security testing concepts, tools, and best practices to ensure the robustness of software applications.
