As a Test & Trial manager you will be responsible for set to work and verification in the project, and be part of a team leading the complete verification of A26. Your responsibility covers the planning, preparation, execution, and reporting of the set to work and verification. The role include many stakeholders to interact with such as customers, vendors and other business areas within Saab. You report to the Head of Project Management and Planning, Engineering.



Your role

Saabs business area Kockums is a global supplier of world-class marine high technology - above and below surface. This is a role for you who want to be part of one of the world's most modern shipyards. Kockums develop, integrate and verify new submarines and surface ships as well as continuous upgrades and maintenance for Swedish and foreign navies. We have a number of ongoing and future projects with high complexity.

The role include business travels between our offices in Karlskrona and Malmö. Travels abroad occur but varies depending on our projects.

As a Test manager it is your responsibility to:

* Prepare and plan the test and verification activities (ICO, STW, HAT and SAT) in cooperation with relevant parties including the trials crew for the SAT.
* Lead and manage the work related to test and verification activities.
* Identify internal and external requirements on verification facilities, equipment, security and resources and communicate these to the relevant parties.
* Liaise with Production, Customer, End User and other internal and external entities to ensure that the intended test and verification is agreed.
* Ensure that deviations identified during the verification are documented and that corrective actions are taken.

Required skills:

* A few years' successful experience as a leader.
* Ability to cooperate and navigate in an organization developing and maintaining advanced products.
* Social competence such as leadership skills, communication and coordination skills
* Experience in the area of Requirements Verification and Validation and Test & Evaluation
* Professional competence related to Kockums products.
* Good knowledge about system functions and system interdependencies.
* General understanding of the interdisciplinary technologies affecting system verification
* Know how in building long lasting professional relationships and networks with colleagues and customers.
* Communication skills in English and Swedish.

Desired skills:

* University Degree in Engineering.
* Experience from the navy.
* Understanding/experience of commercial terms and their aspects on the project.
* Understanding/experience of classification and Security management.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
