Our Exciting Opportunity
Business Area Networks is responsible for the company’s industry leading radio products and solutions and is the foundation for Ericsson’s technology leadership. In our Product Development Unit (PDU) we are approximately 2000 R&D professionals spanning R&D sites in Europe, Asia and North America. We are developing HW and SW modules that are part of Ericsson Radio System. We are heavily involved in product development for 5G and next generation Baseband products.
We are now looking for expert Test managers to strengthen our team. We welcome the opportunity to meet you!
You will
Be part of a highly proficient organization with Infra SW teams (XFTs) developing solutions for Ericsson Radio System Products. We have teams in Croatia and Sweden. We are looking for a person with passion in software/system development with good test knowledge who really wants to make a difference and doesn’t hesitate to tackle whatever is needed to get things done.
Develop and deploy Test and CI strategies for our Product Development Group (PDG) that are aligned with DNEW test strategies
Define and lead test automation strategy
Drive Lab strategy to improve efficiency
Optimize our CI loops by supporting XFTs to define applicable test scope, develop, implement and maintain test cases
Identify weak test areas and suggest improvements, e.g. based on FST and flow impediments
Collaborate closely with product care team to improve product's quality
Actively take part in the 5G success for Ericsson!
To be successful in the role you must have
M.Sc., B.Sc. or similar in the Computer, Electrical or Telecommunication Science or Engineering Physics.
To be an expert test manager or a senior developer with high test knowledge
Proficient skills in English
Good communication and mentor skills
Knowledge in the Agile process and willingness to work in an Agile organization.
