Test Manager for Financial Services IT

Team description 

Financial Services IT is a part of the Digital Core Department at IT and its responsibility is to provide sustainable IT solutions and innovative IT expertise within the Financial Services area, thus one of our group’s primary purpose is together with FS to harmonize the global IT landscape.

We want to bring you and some other awesome new IT colleagues to our new group to support the transformation of our high-performance agile teams that consist of architects, developers, service managers and some other stars that makes this constellation pretty special.  

The ultimate goal is of course to have happy users within all SFS communities who can use the power of software and data to make better decisions. 

Profile 

We strongly believe you are an excellent Test Manager who can help us build and maintain our new Central QA team and establish new ways of working within our organization.  

You will lead the work together with IT and Financial Services teams to define our Test strategies and implement a common way of working with test, test environment and test data management.  

To master the role you need to have knowledge about test automation and acceptance testing. You need to have experience with testing in a release process. 

We also think that you are excellent at communicating with different types of people. We believe you are self-confident and that you are not afraid to question us and the organization. By being fearless, you also lead by example in creating and keeping an exploratory work environment where we all feel free to try new things. You have the ability to lead and guide your colleagues in the right direction, you have deep and analytical problem-solving skills. Being a good communicator and working proactively are key in this role. 

Since we ares providing Financial services to the Scania Markets through the delivery of different ERP systems, we would appreciate someone with a creative, agile mind to help us improve our ways of working together with our IT organization and all stakeholders. You have an understanding of IT and ERP systems, and therefore you have a good appreciation of the challenges the members of the team face on a daily basis. 

Responsibilities 

As a test manager, you are expected to work closely with the development and test team to help plan the tests, mitigate risks to system quality and obtain stakeholder support for the plan within each release, defining the scope, test report, approach and schedule. You will have a central role in our quality assurance squad, supporting the other squads/teams and making sure we deliver on time and with the highest quality. 

Below are some of the daily activities: 


• Define Test strategy and process 
• Participate in daily standups with all squads to help mitigate any deviations in testing 
• Actions to find bottlenecks to prevent incidents to happen. 
• Be responsible for the different test and user acceptance environments
• Reviewing FDD:s (Functional Design Documents) in regards of test scripts/cases/scenarios. 

Basic Qualifications 


• 5+ years of experience in Test management 
• Experience in setting up test data management, test automation, performance and security tests.  
• Ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks. 
• RSAT (Regression suite automation tool) 
• Zephir 
• Jira1.8 or more years working with IT, preferably with experience in test and user acceptance.  
• Project Management skills 
• The work environment is international and our corporate language is English.
