As a Test Manager in the Test and Inner Source management unit, you will be working closely with all other units within PDU(Product Development Unit) TC(Traffic Control) as well as with other PDUs (primarily Cloud RAN and NSV) to define the strategy for digital pipelines and quality assurance of the Traffic Control functionality in multiple deployment scenarios such as embedded (DU), Cloud RAN (vCU/vDU) and Hyperscalers.


As PDU TC has embarked on a journey to deploy Traffic Control software in cloud native environments and working with Cloud RAN as one of the main deployments, in addition to MS-RBS, general Cloud understanding and how to evolve by using Cloud concepts and paradigms are key.
In addition to Cloud Native focus, PDU TC has also started the journey with adopting inner source concepts to efficient deliver the Traffic Control Software together with other PDUs supporting several target deployments.
You will work closely with all units in the PDU, as well as across DNEW, to define and drive strategic direction in the test area and together with a collaborative, diverse, high-performance team.


What you will do
Work with TC Test Strategy coordination.
Work with TC Test Management.
Work with TC Loop Strategy management.
Do TC Quality Assessments and verdicts.
Drive discussions and analyses with MS-RBS and Cloud RAN regarding test strategy and quality in early loops.
Be involved and drive test and strategy work related to inner source.



You will bring
A demonstrated technical understanding and an ability to convert into strategy statements.
A strong product development background and understanding of test.
In-depth understanding of the technology and solutions concepts related to a modern ecosystem in area of cloud computing (cloud architecture, micro services, automation) and related practices (DevOps, CI/CD).
An understanding of the concepts of Lean and Agile ways of working.
A background in Traffic Control software is a benefit.
