Interested to lead in cloud-native technologies?
Excellent, as we are now looking for creative, energetic, out of the box leaders to join our newest product development unit. We are embracing a start-up mentality to deliver our product with better customer experience and increased organizational efficiency. You will have a leading role, ensuring we as a company/organization succeed in delivering a cloud native RAN offering to our customers.
PDU Cloud RAN is a new organization that will be leading the acceleration and creation of a cloud-native Radio Access Network (RAN) product offering with commercial engagements starting during 2020. The new PDU will contain in one organization total life-cycle capability from architecture definition to deployment in customer networks & capability to contribute to open source communities in ONAP.
To set ourselves up for greatness we will count on our leaders to truly embody BNEWs three Cs, Customer Focus, Collaboration and Can-do, to drive the realization of the Exilis portfolio.
Key parts of Cloud RAN are based on the use of Open Source services as well as open system interfaces.
You will
Take leading position for Test Manager of virtual Central Units (vCUs)
Drive the vCU Test Strategy evolvement in alignment with the PDU Cloud Ran Test Strategy essential is to follow the microservice principals
Make sure that the vCU Test Strategy is implemented
Act as a leader for the community of practice within vCU Integration/Testing.
Drive and initiate new ideas in simplifying the test environment, test frameworks for speed and cost-efficient integration/quality assurance (simulators, tools, execution environment)
Secure accurate test scope over time
Lead the test analysis and planning for new requirements
Be an active part in the test execution and follow through on strategies set
To be successful in the role you must have
True leadership skills with a can-do attitude to make things happen!
The relevant technical knowledge to both lead the domain but also to build trust to drive it in a good direction.
A market-grasp development and understand customer and competitor situations.
A thrive when you get to engage with customers, external partners, within Ericsson and outside to strengthen alignments.
Strong communication skills, in the customer as well as internal dimension where you are accurate and to the point, standing steady and work through issues towards key partners.
Experience to look for ways to do things differently, but not forgetting the strength of Ericsson. You drive and embrace innovation and change with a collaborative mindset.
Courageous leadership-skills with the ability to make timely and fact-based decision and consistently step forward to take accountability for these decisions.
A strong drive towards achievements, delivery timelines
