What’s in it for you?
In Research & Development, we are searching for a Test Object Leader. The Test Object team is leading and coordinating all needs as well as utilization, instrumentation and updates of the test object during its complete lifetime. The test object team works globally with internal customers in R&D as well as pilot and production plants. At Aurobay, test objects are defined as prototype test engines, hybrid solutions and test vehicles for all test and calibration activities.

As Test Object Leader, you will have the responsibility of leading test object need in engine and hybrid solution projects. This means to lead and perform the coordination of engine test object need in every prototype phase of an engine program as well as follow-up on testing outcome to understand needs of spare parts and updates.

You will be part of the Durability testing group but work widely cross all sections involving design, testing and calibration within R&D.
The role is key in the product development process to optimize and deliver the R&D test objects need according to specification and timing.

What you’ll do
As Test Object Leader, you will lead and perform test object coordination in every prototype phase of an engine or hybrid solution project. This means collect test object and test need as well as instrumentation need before prototype series are to be built. You will follow-up and collect test object updates and coordinate within the test object team. After finished prototype series, follow-up on test object need changes to evaluate and propose optimization.

The Test Object Leader plans, prioritizes and sees synergies for test objects in every prototype phase of a project.
You will have close collaboration both within the Test Objects team but also with project leaders together with test and calibration teams cross R&D as well as engine plants.

You and your skills
We believe you have BSc or higher education in mechanical engineering or similar, you also have equivalent work experience at least 2 years in the field of engine, hybrid or powertrain engineering.
To coordinate and specify test object deliveries, experience as project leader will be of very high interest. To manage technical questions, we see that you have knowledge of internal combustion engines.
You will be in contact with key users both regionally and globally, therefore you have great skills in spoken and written English.

For this position, you need to have excellent communication skills, high integrity, strong sense of delivery and a personal eagerness to accomplish results and getting things done, in time and with quality.
You are communicative with an entrepreneurial mind-set, ambitious, energetic, creative and open minded with aim to find new solutions to existing problems.
