Test Room Manager, Power Transformers

Power Transformers is a business unit within Hitachi ABB Power Grids that manufactures transformers and reactors up to the very highest apparent power and voltages on the market today, 1500 MVA and 1100kV respectively. The unit also offers diagnostics, regeneration, service, and spare parts to customers worldwide.
Your responsibilities
Lead and coach a team of 16 employees, all working with High Voltage testing of Power Transformers
Ensure accountability and high-level safety performance in collaboration with your team
Plan tests, resources and be responsible for following budget and investments
HSE responsibility for your team and the High Voltage test room
Manage customer expectations and ensure proper communication of tests and test result
Drive improvement projects for the test room, both short and long-term initiatives
Ensure that your team is appropriately organized, staffed, and skilled

Your background
We highly value your personality and see that you have a positive and pro-active mindset, are a team player who can build trust with your team and different stakeholders
The role requires you to be a good communicator as well as structured and analytical
You enjoy working with developing, motivating, and coaching others
You hold a degree in engineering and/or equivalent work experience
Previous management experience is a plus, preferably from a similar industry
Good knowledge of Health & Safety and Environment requirements
English and Swedish skills are a must, both written and spoken
