What´s in it for you?
If you are the right person for this role you will be part of the section Performance and Clean Air Technologies, which is responsible for developing the next generation Exhaust After Treatment Systems (EATS) to ensure that both legal emission attributes and performance targets are met. The section consists of 4 teams and we are around 54 employees, whereof 18 are designing and verifying new EATS.
The purpose of this role is to increase efficiency in preparation and testing of EATS on engines and vehicles. As Test Support Engineer you will order and assist in engine tests or emission testing in vehicles, together with analysis engineers in our team and calibration engineers from other groups in order to design and verify new EATS solutions.
The demand for a well-functioning testing is one of our primary targets and an important step to increase our sales volume. The role includes close co-operation with many groups and technical areas, especially your own team. You will have the possibilities to gain additional knowledge both regarding technology and processes that is suitable for many tasks within the company.

What you’ll do
The task consists of but is not limited to:

* Work with test preparation, both for vehicle and engines, perform testing.
* Keep prep lists updated.
* Fault tracing in test objects.
* Catalyst preparation, catalyst aging, and fuel change of vehicle.


This includes writing work orders, downloading software to vehicles, instruct on how to handle vehicles, test sequence planning-coordination-execution, some form of analytical work, bringing vehicles to service and close collaboration with workshops. Tests will mostly be carried out in test cells or on roads by specially trained personnel. Your delivery will be, successful emission and engine tests, internally and externally of our section.
The key to success in this position is the network of people working in the workshops and rigs.

Do you fit the profile?
You have Gymnasium or higher degree from a technical education, Driver´s License (B-Level), we see that you have at least 3 years of work experience. You are fluent in English, written and spoken, and experienced in office package. It is meritorious if you have any of below competencies:

* Automotive industry knowledge
* Work experience from engine or vehicle testing for product development
* Experienced in SW-testing and test automation
* Experienced in engine control or diagnostic systems

For this role it is important to have Customer focus, also hold high integrity and professionalism. You have a well organized and a structured approach. You are self-driven and can work effectively as part of an engineering team. In addition, you are comfortable in a complex technical environment.
