Test system Architect

We are now looking for a new colleague for an assignment at one of our customers in Stockholm. The customer is acting in the telecom industry.



Description

Our team helps drive and execute technical studies on simulators and test solutions to fulfill the needs/requirements from product development. We are now looking for an additional systems designer/architect to work in collaboration with the other system designer in early phase pre-studies.

- The team pulls and studies items from a backlog managed by one of the customer’s programs, presents results for decisions and supports development teams as well as participates in reviews of study reports.
- The studies are of technical analysis character, and some may also be seen as strategic investigations while the main part aims towards speedy execution in other programs.
- The expected outcome is of a study is a report, material that can be basis for make/buy decisions including the evaluation of internal solutions vs external solutions.
- It is also expected that the team contributes in reviews of system studies and documents.
- The assignment will be carried out at the customer premises under normal circumstances. However, for the time being, until further notice, work is done from home.


Requirements

- Minimum bachelor in Engineering
- Documented experience as a systems designer
- System competence within radio networks
- Background from Software or Electronics development
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
- Driven and socially outgoing - since the role implies moderating meetings, engaging with multiple persons/departments within the customer’s organizations on various levels

- System competence within radio network verification
- Architecture and system solutions
- Realization of digital and RAN E2E testing
- Ability to prepare material for make/buy decisions
- 5G network architecture including ORAN and Cloud RANs
