If you’re ambitious, driven and team-spirited, this is your opportunity to build a career as a Test Team Manager that will lead and develop our test team, based in Västerås, Sweden.
Your mission?
We are team of 15 testers that assures that all deliveries are secure for traffic and fulfil our customer’s expectations. As the head of the test hall, you will:
• have full responsibility for running and developing the test hall's staff and processes
• be part of the management team for Service in Västerås and you will report to the site manager
Key responsibilities?
• Assigning the resources (staff) for executing project testing activities
• Managing the workload, including the sub-contracted part (technical assistance or work-package)
• Evaluating performance and setting objectives of your team
• Defining the training plan appropriate to your team’s needs and Alstom strategy
• Proposing to the Site CV Manager the investments and maintenance necessary to ensure the deliveries on projects conducted by the site
• Managing your scope by using regularly updated KPIs related to your domain
• Keeping be informed of the SQCD of projects your team contributes to, in order to propose improvements, if necessary
• Initiating and following up action plans to solve issues common across projects and/or improve results in projects
Requirements:
• Successfully completed (technical) university education as an engineer (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, IT or similar) or technician incl. several years of professional experience
• Experience in the use of test infrastructures
• Practical experience in the field of railway operations
• Fluency in written and spoken English and good working knowledge in Swedish
• Commitment, initiative, and ability to work in a team
• High sense of responsibility
