Test Unit Engineer

The purpose of Tetra Recart is to build a new core business for Tetra Pak.With the Tetra Recart technology we develop further many of the key competencies that have made Tetra Pak a success in the liquid food packaging business.

Your position will be within Food & Process Technology in Tetra Recart s development department.This means that you will be working close to food & process expertise and to the team driving our customer projects.We perform food tests with potential customers or internal Tetra Recart clients.Our main goal is to satisfy customers to open up for new business.

You will be responsible for running tests with our machines that perform as a mini factory for packaging food with the Tetra Recart technology.You will work in a team with food technologists and engineers and take part in leading and supervising the activities on the customer site, working with local service engineers, supported by specialist functions within Tetra Recart.Travelling is limited to less than 80 days/year.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

- Run tests based on demands from customers
- Run tests based on demands from Tetra Recart staff
- Manage and keep equipment and Test Factory in good shape



Kvalifikationer

You are a self-going person who sees unforeseen problems as an interesting challenge.Even though independent you appreciate the value of good teamwork and gladly share your knowledge and help your colleagues.

In your professional life you might have worked as service engineer, electrician or at a mechanical workshop.The most important thing is that you have solid "hands-on" experience with solving mechanical and/or electrical problems.Should you have experience from programmable logic controllers (PLC) it will be an advantage.Another valuable, though not mandatory aspect you could bring is experience from food related industry.Fluency in verbal and written English is necessary.





Tetra Recart is the first retortable carton package for shelf-stable products, e.g.vegetables, beans, tomatoes, soups and sauces - foods which have traditionally been packed in cans, glass jars and pouches.This exciting development was made possible by the invention of a revolutionary new packaging material and a new forming and sealing technique which means that filled product can now be sterilized within the package to extend its shelf life to up to two years.
