Senior Tester


Uppdragsbeskrivning
For our client we are looking for a Senior Test Engineer who is passionate about making code testable. Together with your team you will be responsible for the quality of the solutions and services that they deliver to their customers.
We believe that you have experience from working as a tester in an agile team with everything from requirements to operations using test methodology and test frameworks at all test levels. Also that you see the benefit of the combination of test automation and exploratory testing. You are driven and like to improve and develop frameworks and tools that can be used to automate tests. We are happy to see that you understand and have experience of working with architecture.
Fluent in English, written and verbal – Swedish is a plus
Required tester-specific competencies
Tester with agile development, DevOps mindset
Curious, independent and creative and open to learn
Good foundation on software testing and experienced with Exploratory testing
Experience in automating backend services using postman or cypress or similar
Experience in testing complex distributed systems
Interested in API and backend testing

Required developer-specific competencies
Java scripting , OOPS concepts
Have experience working with Intellij/eclipse
Knowledge of GIT commands
Working knowledge of linux commands, cygwin

Valuable competencies (Not all is mandatory)
Experience working with agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum)
Experience with an automated front-end testing platform (like Cypress,Selenium )
Experience in API testing (automated )
Experience working with devops teams
Experience with Relational and non-relational databases (e.g. DynamoDB, Aurora PostgreSQL)
Message queues and notification services

Experience with AWS :
CloudFormation
AWS Lambda
AWS API Gateway
AWS CLI

Tools
Selenium, Cypress
Postman
Grafana/graphite/OP5
