Tester for Nexer in Skövde

Nexer is growing, and we are expanding our team in Skövde. Currently, we are looking for experienced testers who would like to develop through advanced and fun assignments. You will become a part of our team and work on assignments for our customers. What does the role look like?

As a tester, you plan the test work, write test cases, prioritize, follow up and improve the test process. You also coordinate the test work.

Skills development represents a beneficial part of the role as a consultant. This means that you get the opportunity to take courses, take relevant certificates and if you want, take great responsibility for the development of the test teams. It is possible you have a specialist area that you want to lecture on?

Your background

You are accustomed to leading and being responsible for larger or smaller test assignments. You are disciplined with agile methods such as Scrum and maybe you are also a Scrum Master. You have experience in test strategy, test reporting, test documentation, and planning. It is a requirement that you are fluent in both Swedish and English in speech and writing.

You possess understanding, knowledge, and above all curiosity about different test tools and test methods and how they can be utilized effectively in the test work. Furthermore, you know how the test work needs to be conducted in different sub-areas such as integration tests, testing of mobile applications, usability tests, etc. As our customers use automated tests, we are delighted to see that you have experience in that area. Additionally, if you maintain relevant certifications such as ISTQB Foundation, it is a plus. (But you equally know that test competence means much more than what is contained in these certifications.)

You have a polytechnic, college or university education with a relevant specialization, or through work acquired corresponding knowledge.
