We are a global team of more than 50 people, who works with wide range of our internal customers from Volvo Group as well as customers of our customers.


The role


We have a need to build long term Tester/Test Manager Competence in our team, supporting agile ways of working. You as Test Manager will be heavily involved in many innovative solutions, which is the core & critical Volvo Group strategy to significantly increase customer and digital experience.
Due to the complexity and length of the assignments, we can’t rely on Test Managers appointed occasionally for the assignment. The biggest value will be achieved while having permanent employee, extending her/his understanding and knowledge of the business processes and solutions.

Main responsibilities
This role will provide you the opportunity to lead key activities:
define and execute test strategies, test plans for projects
support in building testing standards within the team with mixture of
manual software testing
automated tests

Previous experience in Manual Testing and Test Automation – minimum 3 years
Previous experience in Test Management – minimum 1 year
Experience in testing of mobile solution is advantage
Have the ability to work with international team
Understand the problems before solutions
Sees the quality risks far ahead and secure timely mitigation
Enjoys open and transparent communication
Well aware of agile cultures and methodologies
Good communication & presentation skills
It is important you have an innovative and creative mind-set in order to inspire and challenge our D&IT organization



Education
Preferably one of the following, or equivalent:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities
Masters in Computer Science or related or equivalent experience preferred
