As you can imagine, keeping track of over 1 000 000 connected customer assets rolling around the world is indeed a challenge. Now ponder those vehicles in a few years will be autonomous – and you have the challenge of your life. Consumer Services at Volvo Group Connected Solutions is responsible for the end user services, from idea to development and operation. Together with our partners and customers we create value through fantastic user experience and business enhancing services and products.


Within Consumer Services we have the extraordinary great Tracking & Optimization team which manages the development and maintenance of our Positioning and Zone Management products – and your experience is needed.


We are now looking for a Tester within Tracking & Optimization.


The role


There will typically be planning, follow-up and practical testing. You will work close to your colleagues in the Tracking & Optimization team and with other development teams at Connected Solutions. You will also interact and collaborate cross-functionally with other teams and brands within the Volvo Group.

You will create a test plan that is relevant for the change you are working with. This includes early phase testing up to User Acceptance Tests.


Your profile
You have a strong customer focus and a natural service-minded attitude. You respond to challenges and find energy in contributing during demanding conditions. You act with integrity and always take responsibility for your deliveries.
Your personality is your major reason for success, but we think you also have:
A university degree (engineering or IT)
Experience from SW testing
Good understanding of total offering impact versus test results
Good domain knowledge of connected services offering, telematics, transport industry and end-customer processes
Complete proficiency in English is a requirement
Good communication and presentation skills
Ability to establish and maintain good relations with customers and partners
Valid work-permit for Sweden, if not EU-citizen
