Testers for OMX

Description of position Perido Skills is looking for two consultants to work with automatic test as a part of the verification team within Research & Development at OMX. These two experienced testers will be a part of the system test team focusing on functional tests. In this position you will be responsible for the test automation model and architecture for system test, as well as for the specification and implementation of automated tests within the GENIUM® Trading Architecture. One of the roles will be more of a test lead role, however still with a strong technical focusing, spending a large part of the time on test specification and implementation. To succeed in this role two competences/experiences are the key: within test and within the financial domain, preferably OMX and exchange perspective. Non functional tests will be handled by other resources within the project, so the roles will be focusing on functional tests. Background The objective for the project is to develop and verify the GENIUM® trading product, which is leading within its field and developed with the latest technology and development methods. It is based on a building block architecture allowing business flexibility. Core and customer specific functionality is separated through an extension mechanism. This puts high demands on design, programming and verification. In the project our testing practices have been brought to a new level both regarding technology and methods. The test process is based on functional, integration and system tests (functional and non functional). The process and terminology are based on ISTQB, an international standard for test practices. Test automation is the dominating approach, where a new test framework developed by OMX based on nUnit is used as well as other commercial tools for automated tests. The job includes One of these position is focused towards a technical test leader role. Your primary focus will be test design based on requirements specified in Borland® CaliberRMT. This activity involves analysis on how the requirements are tested in the most efficient way within the test framework to meet the specified quality objectives. Based on your results test cases will be implemented by yourself or other Test Engineers. The leader role should focus on technical lead, rather than administrative leadership. You will be part of a motivated, highly technical and creative team. You will be given the opportunity to work with both financial and technical activities. The work is done in close cooperation with other members in the OMX test team, with developers and with the verification manager of the project. The other test role is similar however with more limited responsibility and focusing on specification and implementation of test cases, rather than lead. Qualifications - University degree from IT or other technology area. - Minimum 5 years experiences from system testing within project using automated tests. Preferably more than 10 years for the lead role. - Experiences from system testing in large projects meaning more than 100 project members over 1-2 years time. - Basic programming competence and experience within C++, Java or C# - Experience from the financial industry, preferably with focus on the cash or derivative market from an exchange perspective. - Experiences from OMX projects are considered as strong merit. - Language skills in written and spoken English and Swedish
