Arbetsbeskrivning
Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
If you looking for a position where you mix hands-on testing with leading and planning the whole verification cycle of the hardware, where you one week are verifying early samples in our test systems and the other day you are working with root cause analysis of a deviation together in a cross-functional team, solving both mechanical and electronic challenges, this is the position for you.
About the position
Our overall goal is to develop vehicles with robust electrical characteristics and we test our systems and components with creative test methods.
You will support design with electronic competence and perform development and verification testing on components, systems, and complete buses and trucks.
Scania has its own electronic and environmental test facility and you have the opportunity to develop your test equipment.
As a test leader, you will be challenged to find deviations and improvements to contribute to our product design and reliability.
We are a small team that encourages close collaboration with colleagues and a climate where helping each other is highly valued.
How we choose to work plays a major role in our success in developing our products and how we learn from our achievements.
At Scania, we will see you for whom you are and the value you create. We work hard to achieve our sprint goals together in the team. To grow in competence and knowledge is a natural part of our daily targets.
About you
• You have the willingness to make a change and to get things done.
• You like to go deep in design deviations and balance design improvements, requirements, and costs to secure a premium customer experience.
• You get energized by working closely with different competencies in cross-functional teams where you act as competent in electronics and verification.
• You are an engineer with a passion for electronics and have a role today as a test engineer or electronic design engineer.
