Your mission
We are now looking for a Thermal Engineer for our battery system, who wants to work at the forefront of technology and join us in changing how the global industry is powered. You will get the opportunity to design one of the world’s most advanced lithium-ion battery systems.
As a Thermal Engineer at Epiroc electrification, you will be a part of the entire value chain, from design to production. You will be working on new development projects but also with existing products where we focus on small and effective improvements. Typically, the work is on projects where design, calculations and documentation are core areas to manage. Internal cross-functional contacts are essential as well as external contact with suppliers and customers. The work covers concept development and realization, documentation and thermal simulations.
Skills and knowledge
In order to succeed in this role, we believe you have a strong background in thermal systems engineering, are agile, and dare to think new. You have a university degree in a relevant area or other highly qualified engineering backgrounds.
You have some years of professional experience within thermal management systems and are used to bringing ideas from an initial concept to serial production, creating technical documentation and verifying technical solutions, both by using simulation tools and verification in a lab environment.
To enjoy the work you are self-propelled, responsible and your work is effectively planned to meet deadlines. You have a structured and analytical approach, and enjoy combining theory and practice. Furthermore, you have good interpersonal skills, enjoy teamwork and a collaborative, agile environment where communication is key. Since your work includes many local and global contacts it is required that your English skills (verbal and written) are fluent. Swedish language, experience in CAD design, simulation tools and PLM systems are also meritorious.

This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
