TASKS
Thermal Management is a department with responsible for developing, delivering, and maintaining an optimized cab climate and vehicle cooling heating systems for all types of propulsion installations. As a Thermal Simulation Engineer your responsibilities will include: 
 
Directly involved in the development work of our products and involved in a wide range of virtual verification assignments
You will have the opportunity to perform early verification with CFD and 1D simulations of our future products to make sure we develop a leading Thermal Management solution for the future vehicle
You will play an important role in the technology shift towards more environmentally friendly vehicle using electric drivetrains
You will play an important role in extending our simulation area to be able to develop our virtual verification
As part of a simulation team, you share with peers your progress and target to maximize the collective output


PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
We believe that you are a dedicated and driven person with at least MSc or preferably PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Furthermore we see that you are a creative, independant and unpretentious person who enjoys a dynamic working environment and wants to keep growing and developing; both your own brand and qualities, but also the company and it's reputation. You will be expected to perform a variety of tasks in a highly technical environment as part of a team. The team support each other and you are expected to complement your colleagues with five key aspects especially: 
Profound knowledge of Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer, and cooling system
Skilled in Computational Fluid Dynamics, CFD and experience in Systems simulation, (1D)
Strong mathematical and analytical background
Knowledge in Star CCM+ and GT SUITE is considered positive
Fluent in English, both spoken and written


ABOUT THE POSITION
This is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by us at Eterni and work as a consultant with our partner. The set-up is usually 6-12 months, but can be extended further, alternatively we find new assignments for you.
