About the job

Product configuration is a very important area for Alfa Laval’s success. Many of our products are customized for a specific customer use case and are sold via the configuration tool. Our platform is used by both internal sales and by our external partners globally. It is integrated with both internal sales systems and our e-Business portal. You will interact with stakeholders all over the world.

We are working in an agile environment and you will work closely with a team of developers. Together you will design, support and develop the Alfa Laval product configuration platform.

As a part of the team, you will:
* Be responsible for design, development, improvements, and maintenance of the thermal calculations of heat exchangers in the Alfa Laval product configurator solution. You will do this in a close cooperation with the R&D and product management organization globally.

* Be responsible of customization and improvements for customer specific thermal calculation tools for key accounts. You will do this in close cooperation with the customer, the sales and product management organization.
* Create and maintain necessary component, system, platform and operation documentation for the systems.
* Act as developer in project and service activities.

What you know

You have a relevant academic experience including studies in thermodynamics and software development. You have a high competence in requirement definition, technical design and development. You have prior experience in:
* Development of windows C++ and/or in C#
* Thermal heat transfer algorithm analysis and implementation
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

It also beneficial if you have experience in;
* International IT projects or team
* SAFe, Azure devops, MS TFS
* Software development for manufacturing industry applications
