We are now looking for Software Developers
Description
You will be part of the Chapter Battery and Thermal Controls Engineering, which is one of five competence areas within the Software Tribe.
Our focus is to develop vehicle software solutions for thermal and for battery management.
We are now looking for experienced and proactive software developers that will join the team developing the thermal management software for the vehicles that we develop. The work includes defining software architecture, software design/implementation as well as working with the build system and the way-of-working to have a well-functioning and robust software product.
This includes software for thermal management of the compartment climate, high voltage battery, electrical powertrain and more.
The work will be done in tight cooperation with System Engineers from other departments within NEVS as well as global partners and suppliers. All with the focus to combine the highest levels of quality and performance.
Previous experience from software development using C++ is required and if you have experience with Linux platforms and Continuous Delivery Pipeline it is even better.

The role involves:
- Support the development of vehicle level requirements.
- Develop and maintain requirements for thermal software.
- Support the development of design proposals on vehicle level.
- Develop software architecture and software design for the thermal software.
- Implement thermal software and perform unit testing.
- Maintain and evolve the development environment as well as improving way-of-working processes.
- Mentoring of colleagues.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Several years of experience from developing software in C++ and preferably CMake.
- Experience of developing control software.
- Domain knowledge of thermal systems.
- Bachelor of Science or higher degree.
- Ability to share expertise to colleagues.
- Fluent English skills, both spoken and written.
- Experience with Linux, Yocto build system, Jenkins, Continuous Delivery Pipeline and AWS is a plus.
