Master/Bachelor Thesis: SMART ON FHIR - Technology evaluation and PoC development.

Together Tech is a recognized and certified partner for developing medical devices. FHIR® (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) is a communication standard used more and more for the exchange of clinical and administrative information between different IT systems within healthcare. SMART on FHIR provides the possibility to create plugins for Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

This thesis aims to evaluate the SMART on FHIR technology and develop a Proof-of-Concept application within the area of cancer diagnostics, using suitable web software technologies and frameworks.

The thesis will contain:

- Study SMART on FHIR

- Setup of sandbox/development environment

- Benchmark EHR support on SMART on FHIR

- Develop proof of concept application



Applicants: Two bachelor or master students within Computer Science with keen interest in web software.
