New technologies and Markets team is part of EAE (Electromobility Autonomous and Electronics) Purchasing belongs to Volvo Group Truck Purchasing (GTP).We connect with early phase technology development activities in all technical domains where any new or current partner needs to be involved to support Volvo’s R&D activities.We drive GTP involvement in such initiatives to bring the business perspective in early phases and sourcing activities. We scout and build parntership to develop future business opportunities . We ensure GTP support in Innovation cases and develop X-functional ways of working to facilitate a fast and agile process.


Background of thesis project
We are working with new technology development within the area of hydrogen solutions as part of Volvo group ambition to achive ZEV targets and achieve fossil neutrality by 2050. Within the area of Hydrogen storage system we would like to investigate and to get a better understanding of the market trends both in Europe and US linked to technology development for on board storage solutions .
