Thesis work: SIEM solution with Machine Learning based analysis

Cybercom in Malmö is looking for a student for a thesis project creating a SIEM solution with Machine Learning based Analysis.

The work consists of three parts:

Create SIEM solution framework with log gathering from "all" possible event sources:
- Open Source based log server.
- Syntax/tagging standard for event entries.
- Instructions/templates for logging of system/platform events.
- Instructions/templates/Java Interface for logging of application events.
- Instructions/templates/scripts for import of external logs (e.g. from card swipe access system).
- Dashboard + alarm mechanism.
Create solution for Machine Learning with log data as input:
- Choose product.
- Establish framework/rules.
Implement demo-set of rules:
- Implement rules.
- Integrate with dashboard/alarm.

All our thesis workers are compensated upon submitted and, by the university, approved thesis work.
