Threat Intelligence Analyst
Mission and context
In this role you will focus on the collection, analysis and reporting of actionable threat intelligence to senior management. Your analytical mindset will help to quickly filter raw data, community intelligence reports and geopolitical developments to determine the impact to Volvo Group's business.
You will further build deep relationships with the intelligence community and assist in various incidents, crisis and investigations and solve complex cases. Over time, you will be the subject matter expert to understand and disseminate the impact of the current threat landscape to Volvo Group.
The successful candidate reports directly to the Director Investigation & Analysis.
Main Responsibilities
Perform ad-hoc and regular research on security threats, evolution of trends in the threat and geopolitical landscape, and potential impact to unravel additional context and scale of threats potentially impacting Volvo Group
Maintain a strong awareness and understanding of the current threat landscape relevant for Volvo Group
Develop strong, long-lasting, and collaborative relationships with members of the national and international intelligence community & intelligence providers, law enforcement and peers within the industry
Collaborate with information security subject matter experts internally to understand the cyber threat landscape and determine the impact for Volvo Group
Prepare actionable presentations, reports, and provide inputs to briefings to our Security Operations Centre (SOC), executive management, and other relevant stakeholders
Help to prioritize defense activities and to define action plans against attacks/threats
Possess an understanding of threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures
Support complex investigations with investigation analysis
Support corporate crisis management with situation assessments
Requirements and Qualifications
Master's degree in Information technology, cybersecurity, criminal studies, international relations or related field or a documented broad experience of threat analysis from corporate security or law enforcement
Advanced IT skills with a high level of information security experience & expertise
5+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting and/or cybersecurity operations, including cyber threat intelligence. vulnerability management, incident response, and threat hunting or equivalent experience in threat analysis from corporate security or law enforcement
Experience in conducting analysis via open source and closed-source queries, understanding relevance of artefacts and indicators of compromise
Experience from investigations and analysis
Experience from crisis management
Ability to produce concise written threat intelligence assessments and briefings

CISM
CISSP
CISA
GCTI
