Tissue Process Specialist, Reference Management

Valmet Global Tissue Service family is looking for Tissue Process Specialist to assist and support our customers’ Tissue business. For this position, there are two possibilities. As we are looking to promote internal mobility and getting new competence to the selected service area locations or have your office in Karlstad, Sweden.
Largely the role will include the following:
· Valmet’s lead as reference management resource on assigned projects
· Provide technical and process support in service sales projects
· Provide assistance in process check out and start-up of new or service installations as applicable
· Planning and leading performance tests and task force programs to technically meet the delivery targets in terms of process, production and quality
· To follow up customer’s performance, after closed project, to ensure a satisfied customer
· To coordinate and facilitate other Valmet tissue process resources as needed in post start-up activities to provide adequate process support to satisfy our customer’s needs
· To work closely with our customers to assist in trouble-shooting activities.
· Lead and perform certain internal and external training programs focusing on Valmet’s delivery and tissue making.
· To make sure process related feedback and learnings from the market gets funneled back into the company
· To work closely with our customer to provide technical and process advise for machine upgrades and process optimization activities.
· Participate in development of verification programs which means ensuring that information about Valmet deliveries returned to the parties concerned, including engineering, R&D, concept and product managers.
To be successful in this role, you should have a B.S. degree or have acquired equivalent experience. We would also like you experience from the tissue making industry and it is an advantage if you experience with Valmet’s Tissue machine concept Technology.
As you will be working in the forefront with our customers, the position requires good leadership as well as good communication and cooperation skills.
We expect you to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing. The position requires travel.
